  Usefull Information

How can I remove unwanted intros?
To remove an intro, just download this tool called Flash Advance Toolkit v7 . After unzipping it, run the file FATV7.exe . Unzip the rom with the intro into a temporary directory to get a file with the extension ".gba". Return to the program. Click on the button "Browse" next to "Input File:" and choose the ".gba" file you just unzipped. Click on the button "Browse" next to "Output File:" and choose a new filename as you wish (this will be the file with the intro removed). Finish the operation by clicking on "Automatically Remove Intro". Now you will get a message that says that the intro has been removed, zip the output file and it is done!

How can I know if games like Pokemon Advance are out yet?
Just go to this page : Gba Renamer Releases / GBAROMs.COM, this will load the complete list of avaiable GBA games. To do a search press CTRL+F and write a keyword for example "Pokemon" or "Golden Sun" , if you find something , then it means that the game is out ... otherwise you have to wait some more.

Where can I find a list with dates of upcoming games?
You can try those sites : The Magic Box (for Japan and US releases), Gamespot or on Nintendo official site sorting the results by "Future Games Ascending" . Keep in mind that sometimes releases date are not perfect, and the rom may be not be dumped the same day the game is on the stores.

How can I apply a IPS file patch to a rom?
IPS files are patches that can be applied to roms to translate them or to activate trainers. To apply those file get this program: IPSWin 2.0 , unzip it and run it. It is very simple to use, just select the rom that you want to patch (you can choose zipped roms too) and then the ".ips" file, then press "Patch!" . To find patches you can try this site : The Whirlpool ,while for trainers you can go here : Gbaroms.com under the menu "patches".
